Ramsele is a beautiful little village, located on both side of the river Umeälven. Here you will find both winding roads and paths in the surrounding forests, ideal for bicycling along, for scenic walks and exercise.

Here you will find peace and quiet for the family in a tranquil environment, but also a perfect place for perhaps a staff party or similar get togethers to celebrate a special occasion.

In this cosy atmosphere you can even have a meeting or conference. The assembly hall in the Byagården is fully equipped with everything you need.

OUTDOOR LIFE
Here you will find barbeque facilities, forest all around with nice hiking paths and big open fields for outdoor games and playing.

CAMPING AND SWIMMING
On a small peninsula, in the village, you will find "Almagrundet". Here you can camp and go swimming in the river. There is a bathroom (toilet and washbasin), running water, a little room to change to your bathing suit, a small bridge (pier) and a place to play "boule". Sleeping accommodations can be arranged in the "Byagården".

Byagården
The building that is currently the Byagården was once the former school, originally built in 1898. Since classes came to an end in 1963 the building has been restored extensively and consists of two levels now: First level An assembly hall (Previously a classroom) and close to it, a smaller room that can be used for meals. A complete kitchen with crockery, cutlery and utensils to cater for up to 50 people Toilet and showers. Second level 3 bedrooms with a total of 10 beds, an entrance area and toilet.

Veras Apartment
Is located on the upper level in a separate house close to the Byagård and has: 2 rooms and a sleeping alcove. Kitchen, toilet and shower.

"Holgers Cabin"
A quaint red cottage close to the other buildings and equipped with: A single bedroom, kitchen, toilet and bathroom. 4 beds. Suitable for disabled people.

Baking house
For those interested in baking the traditional thin bread for this area, you can hire the use of the baking house with a wood-fired oven for 100 Skr per day.

RAMSELEFORS SKYTTEFÖRENING (SHOOTING RANGE AND CLUB)
In Ramsele your will find one of Sweden's best shooting clubs. There is a well equipped shooting range where several large competitions are held every year. The club has several members that have won both Swedish and Scandinavian masterships.
